The Beaudesert Foundation

We are delighted to welcome you to the Beaudesert Foundation, here to support current and future generations of Beaudesertians, while working for the future wellbeing and success of Beaudesert itself.

Philanthropy is a long-standing and valued tradition within independent schools, Beaudesert included, indeed it is the very foundation on which the earliest independent schools were built. The place of this tradition is as important today as it always has been.

Our Mission

The Beaudesert Foundation exists to strengthen the future of our school and the futures of all our children. Through fundraising and community support, the Foundation aims to fulfil three objectives:

  1. To provide means-tested hardship and transformational bursaries in order to make a Beaudesert education accessible to children for whom, otherwise, it would be unaffordable for their families.
  2. To fund vital capital and development projects to enhance teaching, learning and opportunity for children throughout the school.
  3. To help fund investment-led enrichment through teaching-related initiatives and resources, thus improving the experiences of all our children.

Bursaries

At Beaudesert, we are proud to be able to provide bursaries through our Bursary Fund, increasing the scope of opportunity for children to benefit from our exceptional educational offering. Contributions to this Fund allow us to support an increasing number of deserving children who enrich our school.

The journey that children experience during their time at Beaudesert can be truly transformational, and it is our desire to make this opportunity available to exceptional and deserving children for whom it might otherwise be out of reach.

Capital Development Projects

In recent years, the generous support of current parents and alumni, alongside the School’s pragmatic financial planning, has allowed the development of exceptional facilities to enhance children’s learning and development in all areas of school life, academic, artistic and sporting. We are committed to continuing to enhance and develop the facilities at Beaudesert, in line with our ongoing ambition of offering the finest and most inspiring prep school education possible for our children.

Future projects include the refurbishment of our current indoor swimming pool, further enhancing our outdoor sporting facilities, the development of additional facilities for co-curricular activities, including outdoor learning and ecology, and capital investment in projects to reduce the school’s carbon footprint in line with our sustainability objectives.

Investment-led Enrichment

Investment-led enrichment supports the funding for smaller, teaching-related initiatives as part of both our longer and shorter term development planning, directly and quickly enhancing the learning experiences of our children in many different ways.

Unrestricted Giving

Donations which are offered in an unrestricted manner offer us the flexibility to direct funds to where the Beaudesert Foundation needs it most, to continue to uphold all our educational and charitable objectives.
